What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - The Short Version

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. The point is the setup is serious. That is something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Now, the part you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
